Message from Aerie President
Greetings Brothers and Sisters,
Happy April. This will be a busy month with lots of things happening. Keep an eye on the board and calendar for the following:
April 12 – Anniversary for the Aerie
April 26 – State Golf Tournament
We will also be hosting the State Conference on May 17.
Thanks goes out to Donna Lane and Patty Hebb for creating the artwork over the fireplace. Also, thanks to all the ladies who set it up back there. It looks great!
If by chance you were not at our last Aerie meeting on March 18, you missed out. We had the largest initiation of new members – 13 in total. We also had one of the largest member showing that I have ever witnessed. I will once again thank all the members who showed up and highly encourages everyone to attend a meeting. Valuable information is relayed at these meetings.
It is also that time of year for our members to step up and join the Office and Committee member ranks. If you are interested in being apart of the direction of the Aerie, please feel free to talk to any officer.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Hello everyone. Spring is here and the Aerie is as busy as ever. The Aerie Anniversary is April 12. April 26 is the State President’s charities event golf tournament.
May 16-18 weekend, we will be hosting the State quarterly conference. The May conference will be a busy time at the Aerie and we need volunteers! Please look at May’s newsletter for updates.
June State Convention will be held in New Market so it will be close if you would like to attend, it’s a great learning experience. We have a hospitality room that weekend as well.
Those who are going, the theme is Pirates! Rrr Matey! We are asking if you have pirate shirts or outfits, please bring them with you!
It’s been so wonderful seeing so many members coming in to support our organization!!! Please remember our staff are working very hard for all of us and help with cleaning our tables will help so much. And patience when we get super busy. There are way more of us than them. We’re fortunate to have them.
Many Aeries depend on Volunteers to do all the work. The little things go a long way. Thank you. Last note, please keep in your prayers our members who are dealing with health and other issues! You are in our hearts!!!

Reminder To All Members,
I will be helping Pauline as she recovers from surgery. Prayers for a speedy recovery as we miss you!! Please be patient as I am not able to send out dues for anyone because her name must be on the bottom of your membership card.
Please join me in welcoming our new sisters: Teresa ‘Gail’ Smith, Kelli Puffenbarger, Christina Clark, LaDonna Smith and Marsha Merica. We are happy to have you with us.
On another note, thank you to everyone for your support as I have run the state chairs and am currently your State Madam President. Reminder that we are giving away the Cornhole Boards, Ladder Blanket, Wooden Flag and Cross, and the Crocheted Flag Blanket at the May 17th conference being held here in Staunton. All tickets are $5.00 each. Please ask at the bar if an auxiliary officer is not at 680. The other four items: Welcome sign with planter, Chenille blanket with pillow, Be Kind wooden signs, and the Quilt, will be given away at the convention in New Market on Friday June 20th at the banquet. These are also $5.00 apiece.
As for the calendars, let's sell out of them as they benefit both Kim Botkin's charity, St Jude's, as well as my state one, Suicide Prevention. Price slashed to $10.00.

Please ask at the bar if an auxiliary officer is not at 680. I also have my state pins for sale for $5.00 each.
